Update #1: Critical Weather Day will supersede Enhanced Caution for Western Region Excessive Rainfall ops over California starting Wednesday March14 at 1200Z. Rest of Enhanced Caution remains the same.

Reason: Enhanced caution has been declared from 1430Z Mon Mar 13 to 1200Z Wed Mar 15 in support of Western Region Excessive Rainfall ops over California.  Enhanced caution has also been declared  from 0000Z Tue Mar 14 to 1200Z Wed Mar 15 in support of Eastern Region Coastal Winter Storm ops.

 

Pause all operational changes. Request Regional or Center management approval prior to moving forward with any operational change. Managers should consider the critical resources outlined in the NWS IT Playbooks prior to authorizing any operational system, data, or application changes.
