Update #1: The JPSS Risk Reduction CloudMask, CloudHeight, CloudPhase and Volcanic Ash products for SNPP and NOAA-20 have been migrated from NDE on-prem to the NESDIS Common Cloud Framework (NCCF). These products are being generated with version 3.2 algorithms. Distribution of the v3.2 CloudMask, CloudHeight, CloudPhase and Volcanic Ash products to PDA will begin at 1700Z on March 15, 2023, replacing the current versions. Note that the PDA short names will remain the same but the version and release numbers in the file name will be updated. The downstream products (NCOMP, DCOMP, CCL, and CBH) will continue to be distributed to PDA from NDE on-prem until the 3.2 versions on the NCCF are ready to become operational in the May 2023 time frame. Details will be released as they become available.

The JPSS Risk Reduction CloudMask, CloudHeight, CloudPhase and Volcanic Ash products for SNPP and NOAA-20 and NOAA-21 (pre-beta) are being migrated from NDE on-prem to NESDIS Common Cloud Framework (NCCF). These SNPP and NOAA-20 products are planned to be declared operational in NCCF on March 15, 2023. The PDA short names and product file names will remain the same during this migration. The test products have been available on PDA I&T now. Users can start subscribing to these data products from PDA I&T. The test data product short names are appended with “_TEST”.
