The NOAA-21 Satellite will be declared Operational on March 30, 2023 at 2200 UTC.

The calibration and validation (cal/val) activities on NOAA-21 are still ongoing, but satellite command and control is under OSPO operations.

NOAA-21 is the Tertiary satellite in the 1325 Local Time of Ascending Node (LTAN) (PM) orbit. As the cal/val activities progress, NOAA-21 will be promoted in priority to Secondary and then eventually as the Primary PM satellite.

Other messages to the community will be sent regarding operational product availability as those product provisional milestones occur.
