The operational NOAA-21 CrIS SDR BUFR products will be generated in the NESDIS Common Cloud Framework (NCCF) on March 30, 2023. These products will be available for distribution on PDA with the same short names as for NOAA-20 and SNPP. Currently,  the test products are available on PDA I&T. Users can start subscribing to these data products from PDA I&T. The test data product short names are appended with “_TEST”.

Note that the passthrough products (CrIS RDR/FS-SDR and GEO in HDF5 format) will go through NDE OPS and be distributed via PDA.

Since NOAA-21 VIIRS Cloud products are still in pre-beta status, the co-location of CrIS and VIIRS will have fill values in CrIS SDR BUFR products until VIIRS Cloud products reach provisional status.
