Details/Specifics of Change: The NOAA-21 Aerosol Optical Depth (AOD) products will be operational in NCCF and be disseminated to PDA on July 25, 2023.  

New products included in this release are:

Operational product generation of NOAA-21 JPSSRR_AOD, JRR_AOD_BUFR  and BUNDLED_NUPS_JPSSRR AOD in NCCF:

No PDA shortname change

New Product

List of Scientific Changes: Fix the initialization and pointers. Change to use 17 class Surface Types rather than 14 class Surface Types

Please note: This upgrade will not be performed during Critical Weather Day (CWD).

Also, the contents of this release are subject to change based on user readiness, customer feedback, and management approval.
