Details/Specifics of Change:

 

The satellite derived SNPP/N20/ N21 Enterprise Fire (eFire) VIIRS I-Band, SNPP/N20/N21 OMPS V8TOz , BUFR, and DSS Products are being migrated from on-prem systems to the NESDIS Common Cloud Framework (NCCF). The SNPP, NOAA-20, and NOAA-21 products are planned to be declared operational in NCCF on August 29, 2023. The PDA short names and product file names for V8TOz will remain the same during this migration. The test products have been available on PDA I&T now. Users can start subscribing to these data products from PDA I&T. The test data product short names are appended with “_TEST”.

 

This NCCF upgrade 1.12.2 also includes the GBBEPx v4 upgrade.

 

Note: Both NDE VIIRS Active Fire (AF) I-Band & and and NCCF eFire VIIRS I-Band will be distributed via PDA from August 29, 2023 through November 30, 2023. NDE VIIRS Active Fire (AF) I-Band and and will be turned off on November 30, 2023. After November 30, 2023, only NCCF eFire VIIRS I-Band will be continuously operationally distributed through PDA.
