Details/Specifics of Change: On November 3, 2023 at 2007 UTC, the PR.12.08.01 emergency patch was made operational for GOES-18 EXIS product generation. This update consisted of new Look-Up Tables (LUTs) for the EXIS algorithms that aim to address two data issues that appeared in recent weeks.

A correction to the scaling of EUVS-A channel irradiances will apply the appropriate degradation correction to three channels that were found to be too low. The impacted wavelengths are the 25.6 nm, 28.4 nm, and 30.4 nm channels.

In addition, the XRS-A channel required a decrease in the dark count correction used. Around October 13, 2023, the GOES-18 XRS-A signal dropped to flatline levels during periods of low solar flux due to an overly high correction. This adjustment results in a slight increase in the XRS-A channel irradiances.
