Length of Outage: This is a 48hr data collection test. Setting the instrument to the triple-wide settings, we collect data for 48hrs, and the instrument is then set back to its regular operational settings (double-wide).
Details/Specifics of Change: Starting on Wednesday 22, at 1600 UTC, GOES-16 GLM will perform testing to improve the data product. The outages/degradation period are listed below:
· November 22, 1600 - November 24, 1600 UTC: 48min GLM outage/degradation data
This testing will be postponed in the event of a critical weather day. Events will slip one business day, remaining at the same time of day, until they do not conflict with critical weather day
