Final Update: The French MCC distributed S13 TCAL at 1100 UTC today. The S13 (METOP-B) Search and Rescue Processor (SARP) data appears to have returned to normal. 

Update #1: The SARP reset at 1538Z was not successful. EUMETSAT commanded the SARP-3 to power cycle at 0836Z today.

Details/Specifics of Change:  A SARP anomaly occurred on S13 where the data memory was locked up and not reporting new data.  EUMETSAT commanded the SARP reset at 1538 UTC. The French MCC will distribute a new TCAL for S13 around 2130 UTC today.

Impact: Medium-Loss of Storage/forward capability. Satellite is limited to real-time/local distress detection and relay. Timeliness of global coverage detection and relay affected.
