Update #2: The GOES-R Ground System database maintenance has been completed and distribution of products to PDA has resumed as of 1541 UTC.


Update #1: This is a reminder that there will be an outage of up to 5 hours for all GOES-16 and GOES-18 data going to PDA tomorrow, starting at 1300 UTC.

Length of Outage: 5 hours

 

Details/Specifics of Change: On February 15, starting at 1300 UTC, product generation will be stopped for up to 5 hours in order to complete database maintenance in the GOES-R Product Production Zone (PPZ), which will result in an outage of all GOES-R data distributed to PDA. This outage will not impact the flow of Key Performance Parameters (KPPs) that are delivered to the AWIPS Network Control Facility (NCF) or data sent out via GOES-R ReBroadcast (GRB).


In the case of a Critical Weather Day or Enhanced Caution being declared for the date and time of this maintenance, the work will be rescheduled to the following week.
