Details/Specifics of Change:


The blended Multi-platform Tropical Cyclone Surface Winds Algorithm (MTCSWA), N21 Hyper-Spectral Enterprise Algorithm Package (HEAP) Environmental Data Record (EDR) and Outgoing Longwave Radiation (OLR), blended Arctic Composite Imagery (ACI), N21 Advanced Clear Sky Processor for Ocean (ACSPO) Sea Surface Temperature (SST) (w/ BUFR) products are being migrated from on-prem systems to NCCF. The existing Blended Global Biomass Burning Emissions Product (GBBEPx) and SNPP/N20/N21 Version 8 Total SO2 algorithm (V8TOS) products will be upgraded operationally. The test products are available on PDA I&T now. Users can start subscribing to these data products from PDA I&T. The test data product short names are appended with “_TEST”.


The existing GBBEPx, V8TOS and N21 OLR will be promoted to the NCCF PROD environment and released operationally from PDA OPS on April 25, 2024. All of the remaining new products will be released from PDA OPS on May 1, 2024. The legacy ACI system will continue running in parallel for 60 days after the release.



SNPP/N20/N21 VIIRS SDR will pass through NCCF to PDA.
