Details/Specifics of change: On November 12, 2024, NOAA-21 will perform a spacecraft attitude maneuver for the VIIRS Lunar Calibration, with a roll of -4.678 degrees centered at 04:34:10Z. Science data may be impacted while the spacecraft is pointing off-nadir during the attitude maneuver.  The timeline of events for this maneuver are provided below.

The following observatory systems will be affected on 2024 November 12:

04:29:08Z – 04:41:10Z HRD will be off, data for direct broadcast users will be unavailable
04:28:38Z – 04:41:41Z VIIRS encoder offset and gain will be set for Moon observation
04:29:10Z – 04:41:10Z NOAA-21 will be pointing off-nadir, collected data may be impacted and not disseminated
