Please be advised that delivery of Suomi National Polar-orbiting Partnership (S-NPP) data to users will cease on November 02, 2026. Note that the effective date has been adjusted from November 1 to November 2 as November 1 falls on a Sunday.

Details/Specifics: NOAA will end delivery of all remaining science products from the Suomi National Polar-Orbiting Partnership (S-NPP) satellite at 13:00 UTC (8:00 AM EST) on November 2, 2026



Further updates regarding S-NPP will be provided as the November 2, 2026 date approaches.


All users should transition to using NOAA-21 (Primary) and NOAA-20 (Secondary) science products, which are accessible via NOAA Product Distribution and Access (PDA). NOAA-21 and NOAA-20 provide complementary science data via similar instruments.
