REMARKS:

An anomaly centered 10.5 mi south of Galveston was 0.75 mi long and up to 0.15 mi wide and was in the vicinity of a reported spill that occurred earlier in the day.  The anomaly was also detected in a MODIS Aqua pass at 1930Z when it was centered 0.9 mi farther southwest.

Sky conditions were clear at the time of the image and winds were from the north-northeast at 10 knots.
