REMARKS:

A rather bright, silvery anomaly is identified from satellite imagery located approximately 132 miles from Port Arthur, TX. The anomaly has dimensions of 0.9 miles long by 0.06 miles wide. It is possible anomaly is an oil sheen originating from a rig located along the anomalies northern extent. Due to the drop-out lines that appear in Landsat-7 imagery, the rig cannot be seen in this image, thus reducing the confidence of anomaly being oil to the medium category. Anomaly does seem to be aligned in the general direction of winds and ocean current flow.
