Remarks:
Possible oil was observed in satellite imagery. This anomaly is unconfirmed
as oil. The anomaly measured about 5 NM in length by .16 NM wide at its
widest, contrasted very well relative to its background and had some jagged
turns. Feathering appeared to align with SW winds although the winds at
the time of the image were NW at 10 KT. Additionally, there was no discernible
point source. The anomaly was located just inside the US EEZ off of Southern
California. Given the above factors we have MEDIUM confidence in this
assessment.

Uncertainties:
This anomaly could be biogenic matter.
