Image Date & Time: 06-26-2018 1520 UTC

Confidence: High

Region: Atlantic Ocean
Location: 40°06'02" N, 69°55'03" W
Coverage Area: 2.43 km^2

Remarks:
Possible oil was observed in satellite imagery. This anomaly is unconfirmed
as oil. The anomaly was connected to a repeat leak source wreck 1487,
which was located about 68 nm south of Nantucket Island. The narrow oil
slick was 6.9 nm long, and had a sliver appearance due to sunglint. The
shape of the anomaly was not rounded, and it was distinguishable from
the surrounding area. Confidence is high due to its characteristics and
connection to a repeat leak source.

Uncertainties:
Due to the low wind area in the region, a more precise areal measure could
not be attained.
