This anomaly is unconfirmed as oil. It is believed to be an oil slick that emanated from the Destroyed Taylor platform. The anomaly extended approximately 2.76 nm S-NNE and 0.26 in width. It exhibited a combination of thinner oil, the silvery portion, and relatively thicker oil which was the dark portion with streaks of brown. UNCERTAINTIES: Winds near the time of the image were light and variable. There was not enough data to support the orientation of the anomaly.
