REMARKS: Possible oil was observed in satellite imagery. This anomaly is unconfirmed as oil. The 15 NM long anomaly exhibited excellent contrast with its background and had many jagged turns. Additionally, the anomaly was connected to a known repeat leak source, Wreck 1487. Winds were out of the NE at 10 KT at the time of the image. Given the above factors we have HIGH confidence in this assessment.
