REMARKS: Possible oil was observed in satellite imagery. This anomaly is unconfirmed as oil. The 31 NM long anomaly had many jagged turns, exhibited feathering and had excellent contrast with its background. Additionally, the anomaly was attached to the Destroyed Taylor Platform, a known repeat leak source. Winds were out of the WNW at 10 KT at the time of the image. Given the above factors we have HIGH confidence in this assessment.
