REMARKS: Possible oil was observed in satellite imagery. This anomaly is unconfirmed as oil. The anomaly extended about 1.6 NM and was 0.07 NM wide at its widest point. An area of white/silver within the anomaly is consistent with thicker oil. The anomaly emanated from a know repeat leak source, the Coimbra Tanker Shipwreck. Winds were out of the SW at 5 KT at the time of the image. Considering the above factors we have HIGH confidence in this assessment.


UNCERTAINTIES: Areal extent of slick is extrapolated over scanning gaps in Landsat-7.
