This anomaly is unconfirmed as oil. The anomaly is emanating from the known repeat leaks source the sunken Coimbra Tanker off the coast of Long Island, NY. The anomaly measured 2.7 nmi length and extended towards the SW. Satellite derived winds at the time of observation were 5 knots and from the NE. Confidence was determined to be High given the anomaly possessed a sharp contrast to its background surroundings and generally widens with distance from its likely point source.
