This anomaly is unconfirmed as oil and measured 2.5 x 0.5 nmi at the time of the image. The anomaly was located ~30 nmi NE of Seguam Island, AK in Amukta Pass. Satellite derived winds in the area calculated wind speeds to be around 10 kts and out of the SSW. Confidence was determined to be Medium given the anomaly possessed high contrast to its background surroundings, no identifiable possible point source in the area, and the edges of the anomaly appeared diffuse. UNCERTAINTIES: There are no other natural phenomena in the area; however, the anomaly may be some type of bio-natural material.
