This anomaly is unconfirmed as oil. The slick is believed to have emanated from the nearby oil facility. The anomaly was approximately 2 nm W-E and 0.09 nm in width. It was black in color and had a large contrast to its surroundings. The slick also widen with distance towards the eastern end of the anomaly. Winds near the time of the image aligned well with the anomaly's orientation which were coming from the W between 5-10 kts. The ocean currents also supported the orientation which were moving towards N-NE between 1-1.25 kts. UNCERTAINTIES: There were no uncertainties.
