This anomaly is unconfirmed as oil. The fragmented anomaly covered an area 2.6 x 1.6 nmi and appeared to be emanating from the destroyed Taylor Energy platform. Measured winds in the area at the time of observation were light and from the southeast. Modeled ocean currents were under 1.0 knot with variable directionality. Confidence was determined to be High given the association with the repeat leak source. The anomaly also possessed a contrast to its background surroundings.
