This anomaly is unconfirmed as oil. The anomaly was located roughly 43 nmi West of Oregon's coast and appeared to be attached to a suspected point source in the area. The anomaly measured 9.4 nmi in length and 0.4 nmi at its maximum width. Measured wind speeds at the time of observation were between 10-15 kts in the area. Confidence was determined to be Medium given the anomaly had moderate contrast to its background surroundings and possessed unnatural sharp turns. UNCERTAINTIES: The exact material of the anomaly is unknown however there does appear to be some type of film on the water's surface attached to a likely point source.
