This anomaly is unconfirmed as oil. The anomaly was located roughly 30 nmi southeast of Cape Canaveral, FL and appeared broken into two rectangular shapes. Together they stretched 4.0 nmi in length and measured 0.3 nmi wide. Measured winds in the area during the time of observation were 10 kts and out of the east. Modeled ocean surface currents were under 1.0 kt and towards the northwest. Confidence was determined to be Medium given the anomaly possessed diffuse edges with a moderate contrast to its background surroundings. UNCERTAINTIES: The anomaly had no obvious point source however there were two possible point sources located 16 nmi towards the southeast.
