REMARKS: Possible oil was observed in satellite imagery. This anomaly is unconfirmed as oil. The narrow anomaly was 11nm long and 0.2nm wide at its widest section, and was connected to  wreck 1487, a known repeat leak source. The anomaly had a large contrast to its homogeneous surroundings and appeared out of place. The wind at the time was from NE, which partially explained the orientation of the slick.

UNCERTAINTIES: The orientation of the oil slick could not be explained only by wind direction, and direction of the currents was not available.
