This anomaly is unconfirmed as oil. The anomaly measured 9.74 NM in length and 0.26 NM in width. Winds were 10 kts out of the NE. Confidence that the anomaly seen was oil is Medium-High. The anomaly appeared to be the result of a bilge dump from a nearby vessel that was seen in the image. The anomaly had sharp well defined edges and high contrast to the surrounding area. It also widened with distance from the suspected point source. UNCERTAINTIES: It is possible that this anomaly could have been caused by fishing activity.
