REMARKS: Possible oil was observed in satellite imagery. This anomaly is unconfirmed as oil. The anomaly originates from a known repeat leak source, the Destroyed Taylor Platform and extends about 27 NM in length. It is 0.3 NM wide at its widest point. Winds were out of the NE at 20 KT at the time of the image and align well with the anomaly orientation. Considering the above factors, we have HIGH confidence in this assessment.
