REMARKS: Possible oil was observed in satellite imagery. This anomaly is unconfirmed as oil. The anomaly appeared to be emanating from the destroyed Taylor platform. The slick exhibited a large contrast against its surroundings and had well defined edges. The slick was 11 nm long and 1.4nm wide at its widest section. The wind near the location was 10kts from ENE and the currents is to the ENE at up to 1.5knots, the combination of the wind and currents direction could explain the East-West orientation of the oil slick. 

UNCERTAINTIES: The SW edge of the oil slick was not very well defined.
