REMARKS: Possible oil was observed in satellite imagery. This anomaly is unconfirmed as oil. The anomaly was believed to be emanating from the known sunken Wreck 1487. It was approximately 5.21 nm oriented NE-SW and approximately 0.15 nm in width. The dark-colored anomaly had a moderate contrast to its suroundings and was not directly connected to the Wreck 1487 site. Winds were coming from the NE between 5-10 kts. near the time of the image which aligned well with the orientation of the anomaly.



UNCERTAINTIES: There full extent was unknown due to the anomaly's moderate contrast to its surroundings.
