This anomaly is unconfirmed as oil. The anomaly is believed to be associated with the destroyed Taylor Energy platform and measured 8.8 x 4.1 nmi. Measured winds in the area at the time of observation were 10 kts and from the northeast. Modeled ocean currents were under 1.0 kt with variable directionality. Confidence was determined to be High given the association with a known repeat leak source. UNCERTAINTIES: The full northern extent is unknown do to natural phenomena in the area.
