This anomaly is unconfirmed as oil. Anomaly was located 34 nmi west of Oahu in the Kaua'i Channel, oriented in the north-south direction, and measured 6.57 nmi in length. Measured winds near the area of observation at the time were 5 kts and from the east. Confidence was determined to be Medium given there was no obvious point source. Sharp turns were associated with the anomaly and feathering was also apparent. There was no widening with distance. UNCERTAINTIES: The source of the anomaly is unknown.
