REMARKS: Possible oil was observed in satellite imagery. This anomaly is unconfirmed as oil. The anomaly was believed to be emanating from the known Destroyed Taylor Platform. The anomaly was approximately 20.47 nm oriented NW-NE and approximately 1.08 nm at its widest. The anomaly showed moderate to high contrast to its surroundings. The anomaly exhibited feathering especially towards the NE portion. Winds near the time of the image  were coming from the SW between 5-10 kts, which aligned well with the orientation of the anomaly.



UNCERTAINTIES: The full extent of the anomaly is unknown due to natural phenomena in the vicinity.
