This anomaly is unconfirmed as oil. The anomaly measured 26.40 NM in length and 1.86 NM in width. Winds were 10 kts out of the SSE. Confidence that the anomaly seen was oil is high. The anomaly exhibited large amounts of feathering. It had a high contrast with the surrounding area. Areas of thicker oil were also identified. The anomaly appears to be originating from the destroyed Taylor Energy platform a known repeat leak source.
