This anomaly is unconfirmed as oil. The anomaly was located approximately 49.97 nm SE of Miami, FL. It was less than 5 nm east of the U.S. EEZ. The anomaly was connected to the suspected point source. The anomaly was approximately 19.57 nm oriented SE-NW and approximately 0.21 nm at its widest. The anomaly was dark and showed large contrast against its surroundings. It not only widened with distance, it also exhibited feathering. Winds near the time of the image were coming from the SE between 5-10 kts which aligned well with the orientation of the anomaly. UNCERTAINTIES: None.
