This anomaly is unconfirmed as oil. It measured approximately 7 nmi in length, was connected to a vessel target, and clearly widened with distance. The maximum width was 0.33 nmi. The anomaly exhibited well defined edges, showed good contrast against the ocean background, and was removed from natural phenomena. It appeared drastically different from other ship wakes seen in the image. Winds were from the ENE at 10 knots. UNCERTAINTIES: None.
