This anomaly is unconfirmed as oil. The anomaly measured approximately 7.24 nmi oriented E-W and 0.39 nmi at its greatest width. It had a silver/white shimmer and stood out well against the ocean background. The shape of the anomaly was jagged with sharp turns. Measured winds at the time of image were 10-15 kts and from the west, consistent with the feathering signature. Confidence was determined to be medium given that the anomaly had no discernable point source and there was no known reports in the area. UNCERTAINTIES: No point source could be identified.
