This anomaly is unconfirmed as oil. The anomaly extended approximately 4.25 nmi to the west from the site of the sunken Coimbra Tanker shipwreck, a known repeat oil leak source, and was up to 0.1 nmi in width. It appeared white in sunglint and stood out well against the ocean background. Light winds were from the east at the time of image. Confidence was determined to be high given that the Coimbra Tanker is a known repeat leak source and the anomaly appeared white in sunglint.
