This anomaly is unconfirmed as oil. It was associated with the Coimbra Tanker Shipwreck, and exhibited a thin area of possible oil. The slick is measured 5.25 NMI long and averages 0.25 NMI wide. The area showed moderate contrast against the ocean background and was removed from natural phenomena. Winds at the time of the image were from the East Northeastt.
