This anomaly is unconfirmed as oil. It was located approximately 264 NMI W away from Los Angeles, CA. The anomaly measured approximately 4.17 NMI long by 2.5 NMI wide. It shows a strong contrast against the ocean background and was far removed from natural phenomenon. The anomaly exhibits a feathering structure which aligns with wind data out of the SSW near the time of the image. The edges of the anomaly were predominantly rounded.
