This anomaly is unconfirmed as oil. The anomaly had a large contrast to its surroundings and appeared to be emanated from a nearby point source, likely a boat. The narrow anomaly was 18.9nm long, and noticeably widened with distance from the point source. The anomaly was located 50nm offshore from Monterey, CA. The wind was 10kt from NW. UNCERTAINTIES: The entire length of the anomaly was unknown because the anomaly was located at the edge of the satellite image.
