This anomaly is unconfirmed as oil. The source of the anomaly was within High Island area block #563 approximately 181 NMI east of Corpus Christi, TX. The anomaly was believed to correspond to NRC#1254410. The slick was about 2.01 NMI long by 0.46 NMI wide. The anomaly exhibits good contrast against the ocean background. The direction of the anomaly aligns well with surface wind data near the time of the image.
