This anomaly is unconfirmed as oil. The anomaly was curved in appearance, stretched 8.4 nmi, and measured 0.12 nmi at its greatest width. Measured winds at the time of observation were under 5 kts and towards the northwest. Confidence was determined to be Medium given there was no obvious point source associated with the anomaly. The anomaly did possess a sharp contrast to its background surroundings. UNCERTAINTIES: The anomaly does possess characteristics indicative of oil on the ocean's surface however there was also a natural seep site located 0.92 nmi towards the southwest of the southern tail of the anomaly which may be associated.
