REMARKS: Possible oil was observed in satellite imagery. This anomaly is unconfirmed as oil. The anomaly was believed to be emanating from the known Destroyed Taylor Platform. The anomaly was approximately 4.95 nm in length and approx. 0.74 nm at its widest. The dark colored anomaly had moderate to high contrast against its homogeneous surrounding. Winds near the time of the image  were coming from the W at 5 kts.
