This anomaly is unconfirmed as oil. The anomaly appeared to emanate southward from the site of the destroyed Taylor platform. It was approximately 6.75 nmi in length and up to 0.18 nmi in width. The anomaly appeared relatively dark, with thicker oil appearing orange. Winds near the time of the image were estimated at 5-10 kts from the NW. The anomaly is likely associated with NRC report #1272328. UNCERTAINTIES: Given the repeat leak nature of the suspected source and the NRC report, there are no uncertainties. Confidence that this was oil is high.
