This anomaly is unconfirmed as oil. The slick appeared to originate from the location of Destroyed Taylor platform, a source of repeat oil leaks. The anomaly was measured approximately 2.4 NMI long by 0.16 NMI wide. The anomaly widened with distance and exhibited shimmery appearance using high resolution imagery. UNCERTAINTIES: The exact extent of the anomaly was unknown as it may have extended beyond the satellite footprint from the image.
