REMARKS:
Possible oil was observed in satellite imagery. This anomaly is unconfirmed as oil and was observed moving north from an oil production facility. The anomaly measured 6.8NM long with a maximum width of 0.4NM. The anomaly appeared dark against the ocean background and exhibited a slight feathering signature. This particular Oil production facility has had a history of producing oil sheens and was recently observed with an oil abnormality on 3/24/2020, and 4/21/2020; additionally this report is the result of a retroactive analysis of this facility due to its high incidence of oil anomalies. This report is issued with high confidence due to the signature of this anomaly and the history of this oil production facility as a repeat leak source.
