REMARKS: Possible oil was observed in satellite imagery. This anomaly is unconfirmed as oil. The anomaly appeared to emanate eastward from the site of the destroyed Taylor platform, a known repeat leak source. It measured approximately 5.3 nmi in length and up to approximately 0.4 nmi in width and appeared dark against its background. Winds at the time of the image were 5-10 kts from the S.

UNCERTAINTIES:  The wind direction did not align with the anomaly.
